Norman Terry, 78, of San Saba died Thursday at his residence. funeral services were held Wednesday, June 10, 1992 at 4:00 p.m. in the Howell-Doran Funeral Home with the Rev. Forrest McGregor officiating. The internment followed in the Terry Cemetery. Mr. Terry was born November 26, 1913 in the Pecan Grove Community to Riley and Emily Munsell Terry. He married Jessie Dean Bennett on May 6, 1933 in San Saba. He was a farmer and rancher and Ii ved all of his life in San Saba County. Also, Mr. Terry was a former Director of the McCulloch County Electric Coop, and a former President of the Farm Bureau. Mr. Terry is survived by his wife, Jessie Terry of San Saba, one son Charles Terry of Austin, one daughter, June Kirkpatrick of San Saba, one brother Warden Terry of San Saba, two sisters, Jane Hall of San Saba, and Jean Westerman of Goldthwaite, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one brother. Pallbearers for the service were W.E. Bryant, Archie Rutherford, Allen Artsten, Ben Campbell, Louis Crump, Craigan Johnson, Travis Blair, and Phil Sloan. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
