The Walker Family Reunion is held every year at the Mill Pond Park Senior Center in San Saba, Texas. The date is always the second Saturday in July. In 2005 the Reunion was held on Saturday July 9. The July 21 2005 issue of the San Saba News reported on the 2005 Walker Reunion listing the attendees and a summary of activities.

Seventy-nine members and family friends attended but someone had to take the picture and some had to leave before the group picture was taken. And a few thought it was just too hot outside and remained inside.
